EPS Concrete block (Brick) Insert is the popular insulation materials in construction field.
The insulation brick has many advantages, such as heat preservation (co- efficient of thermal conductivity is 0.045 ~ 0.065 W / (m k.)), Sound proofing, fire prevention and conductivity. Expandable Polystyrene:

EPS, which can be produced in density ranges between 20 kg/m3 – 22kg/m3 suitable for high quality block molding and shape molding with a section thickness of 75 mm and 60 mm, ensuring rapid molding with its short cycle time. EPS in general is used for cases and packaging product suitable for food contact, insulation application which is not requiring fire classification, in industrial applications inside proton brick with impact absorber and for light concrete applications and insulation of concrete block

Special Features of EPS Block Insert

    • Low Moisture Absorption: Moisture absorption rates decrease as density increases, but are still minimal. Material thickness can increase moisture absorption performance.
    • Inert: Experiences no physical or chemical breakdown over time. No nutrient value to animals, insects and organisms. No nutrient value to bacterial growth including mold.
    • No Leachates: It will not contaminate the surrounding environment.

      DESIGN CAUTIONS

    • Flammability: EPS is combustible and should not be exposed to flame or other ignition sources. EPS should be covered with a thermal barrier or otherwise installed in accordance with applicable building code requirements.
    • Solvent Damage: EPS is susceptible to damage by petroleum based solvents and their vapors. Protect with vapor barrier covering and/or use compatible adhesives when applicable.
    • Ultraviolet Damage: Extended exposure to sunlight causes minor discoloration and surface dusting. Shield from direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
